Table of Contents

Over the last few months we’ve announced a published a number of updates and interesting articles. In this time we’ve covered subjects such as Getting Started with the Nutanix Ansible module to an ongoing Top 10 Benefits of Nutanix series.

Today’s quick code sample update is for those interested in using the Nutanix REST APIs and SDKs. As per the sections below, the new code samples cover Python, Go and JS.

Python

There are two new code samples for using the new v4 APIs with Python.

  1. Use Python to connect to Prism Central, authenticate then return a list of images using Python requests. This request is completed using the new Nutanix v4 APIS via HTTP request.
  2. Use the new Nutanix v4 Python SDKs to create and manage the connection to Prism Central then return a list of Prism Central images.

Go

To start the v4 API Go code sample collection, we’ve published an introductory/getting started code sample. This code sample uses the new Nutanix v4 Go SDKs to connect to Prism Central and return a list of Prism Central images.

Javascript/JS

To start the JS SDK code sample collection, a new code sample has been provided in this release. This code sample reads connection configuration from an on-disk JSOn file then uses the new Nutanix v4 JS SDK to return a formatted list of images.

Wrapping Up

In addition to the code samples mentioned above, the following list of resources are recommended to those looking for more info.
