Table of Contents

In August 2022 Nutanix announced the first EA (Early Access) release of the new Nutanix v4 APIs. Along with new approaches to using APIs via HTTP request, this release included the first Python, Java, Go and JS Nutanix SDKs.

Today we have extended that announcement with the release of the following additional namespaces.

  • Files: for API and SDK management of Nutanix Files Storage. For example:
    • File Servers
    • Files Analytics
    • Antivirus Servers
    • Quota Policies
  • LCM: for API and SDK management of Nutanix Lifecycle Manager. For example:
    • LCM pre-check: verification of environment health before updates
    • LCM inventory: gathering information on the currently deployed software versions
    • LCM recommendations: gathering information on which updates can be applied, without applying them
    • LCM plan and update: create a plan for and execute the specified updates

A more detailed article covering the use of LCM APIs will be published in the coming days. For now, please see the following related resources for additional information:

Thanks for reading and have a great day! 🙂
